biography

Rimma is a mid-career professional from Ukraine with ten years of experience in the private, non-profit, and government sectors.

Her latest role was at the Strategic Office of the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School with a focus on strategic programmes for strengthening state institutional capacity and fostering security sector transformation.

Previously Rimma was Director-General of the Directorate for Strategic Planning and European Integration at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Prior to that, she co-founded and was a CEO of Teach For Ukraine, a partner of the Teach For All global network. 

Rimma also has experience in management consulting and public sector development projects with the EBRD and the World Bank. 

She undertook an internship at the Parliament of Canada with Canada-Ukraine Parliamentary Program and is a Future Leaders Exchange Program alumna.

Her areas of interest include institutional capacity building, public leadership, defence, security, conflict studies, and peacebuilding. 

Rimma is a Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust Scholar.
