biography

Rahym is from the island of Saint Lucia, and has recently completed his Bachelor of Laws, with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies in Barbados. He also graduated with first class honours from the same institution, with a Bsc Political Science and Law, where he was adjudged the Class Valedictorian and received numerous awards for the most outstanding student in Political Science. Rahym is a renowned debater, public speaker, mooter and engages in public discourse through his weekly columns in the Saint Lucia Times, focusing on politics and law. He has worked with and for the University of the West Indies TV, Saint Lucia National Youth Council, Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States Commission and other NGOs. HIs key policy interests include but are not limited to, governance, human rights, developmental and social policy with a keen focus on education. Rahym is a Rhodes scholar.
