Raghav Sengupta is a qualified lawyer from India and an Oxford-Cambridge Society of India Presidential Scholar, as well as a Supreme Court of India Bar Association (SCBA) Scholar. He served as a Judicial Law Clerk-cum-Research Assistant at the Supreme Court of India, where he contributed to drafting judgments, orders, and speeches on matters of national importance. As a Savitri Jindal Scholar at his undergraduate program at Jindal Global Law School, he represented India at international competitions, including as a Grand Finalist at the 2021 Alfred Deakin International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Australia and as part of the Indian contingent at the 18th ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition in Paris. Raghav’s articles have been published on platforms such as the Oxford Human Rights Hub and SCC Online, and his current interests focus on reducing case pendency across Indian courts and developing uniform sentencing procedures to strengthen judicial consistency and fairness. Beyond his professional work, he enjoys trekking and hiking, most recently in the Himalayas.
