biography
Paula is a trilingual Colombian lawyer with an LLM and seven years of experience in peacebuilding and strategic consulting. As a student leader supporting Colombia’s peace agreement with the FARC, Paula organised marches, met with negotiators, and mobilised support for a renegotiated accord reflecting broader social demands. She then joined the Institute for Integrated Transitions, where she supported the establishment of Colombia's transitional justice system, helped develop policy recommendations on negotiations with organised crime, and engaged in advocacy for an international treaty on peace negotiations. Paula later moved to Brussels to work in EU public affairs consulting, advising clients across industries at the intersection of policy, strategy, and communications. She is drawn to policies that are ambitious, adaptable across contexts, and generate economic and social value. From LatAm to the EU, she has seen their impact and at Oxford she seeks the tools to design and translate them across regions.
