Patrick Brothers was Co-founder and Co-CEO of HolonIQ, a public sector and impact economy data platform headquartered in New York with offices in London, Sydney and Colombo. He co-founded the company in 2018, achieving rapid growth to become a global leader in predictive intelligence for governments, Fortune 500 companies and investors worldwide. HolonIQ was acquired in 2024 by QS Quacquarelli Symonds where he now serves on the board. Post HolonIQ, Patrick is focused on the intersection of strategy, policy and technology, serving on a number of boards for mission-driven, impact focused initiatives in Africa, Europe and Asia, and advancing research on frontier technology and national capability.

Patrick began his career as an army officer in Australia’s Parachute Regiment, and went on to serve as a senior executive at Deloitte and several multinational public companies in strategy, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and infrastructure finance. His work has centred on the impact economy, spanning education, healthcare, infrastructure, energy and resources, across campuses, public and private companies, and infrastructure assets in more than 30 countries on every continent.

Beyond his formal career, Patrick has coached and mentored high-performance athletes and expedition teams, helping more than ten groups achieve world-record accomplishments. He supported the first mother-and-daughter ascent of Mount Everest and the Seven Summits, the fastest circumnavigation of the globe by helicopter, and the longest trans-ocean kayak crossing.

Patrick holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management, and was awarded first place in field leadership and military skills on graduation from the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
