Oluseye is from Kogi State, Nigeria. She obtained a BSc in Economics from the University of Abuja and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with ACCA, where she holds a fellowship.

Oluseye has a career spanning over 11 years in banking, finance and development policy with Guaranty Trust Bank Plc and the Central Bank of Nigeria. She is currently a Policy Audit and Review Manager. She is passionate about women's economic empowerment, channelling this commitment into co-founding 'The Absolute Woman Empowerment Initiative' (AWEI), an NGO tasked with empowering women disadvantaged by finances and circumstances across Africa. Oluseye's policy interests are inclusive trade policies and financial inclusion policies aimed at enhancing women's economic empowerment. She is an Associate Member of Women in Business, Management and Public Service (WIMBIZ).
