biography

Nami is a development finance professional with a keen interest in topics such as sustainable development and energy transition. Over the past five years she has worked on many large-scale, impactful infrastructure projects across developing countries, ranging from a hybrid wind and solar power plant in Mongolia, a rural road network improvement in Côte d’Ivoire and green urban transport in India. Through these experiences Nami has developed a passion for development finance and impact investing.

Nami is pursuing the MPP and MBA at Oxford to better understand how public and private sectors can effectively collaborate in financing development. In particular, she is interested in researching how policy can support the energy transition efforts of developing countries. Nami holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Business from University College London. In her free time, she enjoys going for long walks and runs, cycling, hiking and visiting libraries and book stores.
