Nisha is a lawyer and policy practitioner from Bengaluru, India. Nisha holds an integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and a master’s degree in criminal law and forensic science. She worked as a young professional in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, deputed to the Office of the Honourable Union Minister. She was part of the team behind the first Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, a platform where young people from across India present their ideas and policy proposals directly to the Prime Minister. Earlier, Nisha worked with a political consulting firm on policy research, electoral campaign strategy, and manifesto development. She also co-founded a startup in sustainable waste management and led legal aid camps as part of National Legal Services Authority initiatives. She has represented India at the BRICS Youth Summit in Russia (2024) and serve with the Commonwealth Youth Council. Her policy interests centre on youth development and participation in governance, alongside law and access to justice.
