Nikki Lucenario is an economist at the Philippine Competition Commission.
Nikki provides economic analyses for the review of mergers and acquisitions, and the investigation of cartels and abuses of dominance. She has also been active in several policy research projects in key sectors such as health, agriculture, and telecommunications.
Nikki is pursuing the Master of Public Policy in Oxford to advance her agency’s policy analysis work and aims to eventually formulate and take forward pro-competitive regulations that can be implemented in various business sectors in the Philippines.
Beyond competition economics, Nikki's research interests include development economics, finance, and sustainability.
She obtained her undergraduate degree in Economics from Ateneo de Manila University.
Nikki is an Asian Development Bank – Philippine Government Scholar.
