biography

An American of Pakistani origin, born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Nida is passionate about education and its power to combat inequality. Early on, her experiences as a student-teacher, debate coach, and education-economics researcher made her acutely aware of the disparities in the education system. Nida has combined private sector experiences as a management consultant, start-up advisor, and MBA graduate, with non-profit work for example, at a non-profit that upskills low-income workers into more resilient career paths. Through this work, Nida seen how intertwined education is with public policy, and she is eager to expand her knowledge in this area at the School.

Nida is a Clarendon Scholar.
