Nawaz brings deep experience working with governments across India, leading large-scale strategy and implementation projects that deliver visible impact. At the Chief Minister’s Office in Haryana, he led the state’s largest water conservation scheme, increasing water-holding capacity by 1,700 million litres. In Uttar Pradesh, he supported foundational literacy and numeracy efforts, benefiting 6M school students. He also helped the Jammu and Kashmir government design a scheme to catalyse the state’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Beyond state governments, Nawaz has worked as a strategy consultant for President of India’s office and NITI Aayog, the national think tank. His aeronautics degree gave him a strong analytical foundation, while his entrepreneurial spirit showed when he founded the Sadr Foundation, an NGO producing ecofriendly sanitary pads to empower women. Driven by a passion for strengthening state capacity, Nawaz is fascinated by how tech and behavioral science can transform lives and governance.
