Since the beginning of her career, Nadia Kartikasari has been keen to work in the public sector.
Shortly after earning her bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning at Institut Teknologi Bandung, she worked as a research assistant at a consulting firm for three months. There, Nadia produced policy recommendations for governments regarding bureaucratic reform.
She subsequently worked as a policy analyst for the governor of Indonesia's capital city, which taught her the art of policymaking and public service delivery. Nadia worked in a delivery unit, translating the governor's vision into work, managing infrastructure projects, entrepreneurship programs, bureaucratic reform, and the formulation of the governor's strategic materials. She has also been responsible for producing policy and strategy recommendations, and managing internal and external government stakeholders.
Nadia's policy interests are exploring public finance and shaping collaborative governance to promote efficiency in public service delivery.
Nadia is an Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LDPD) Scholar.
