Mohammed is originally from Sudan but London has been his home for most of his life. He is a strategy consultant at Advancy, a prestigious French boutique in London, where his focus lies in sustainable industrialisation. Previously, Mohammed founded an agricultural commodities trading company in Sudan aimed at uplifting farmers from poverty by empowering them to invest in the required resources.

Mohammed graduated with a major in finance from the University of Warwick in 2017. During his time there, he founded the Warwick Africa Summit which served as a platform to address the challenges Africa faces from growing populations and food insecurity to migration and the climate crisis. The governance issues plaguing Africa, along with the collapse of legitimate and civilian governments in the Sahel region from which Mohammed originates, have become his key policy interest. Mohammed is determined to pursue this path further, advocating for robust and structured civil services in the developing world.
