biography

Miodrag is from Serbia and holds a first-class bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of London, LSE and University of Belgrade. He has spent nearly five years working at the intersection of commercial and policy spheres, primarily in energy and infrastructure. Most recently, he has been advising the government on the economic impact of energy policy as part of the Fiscal Council of the Republic of Serbia (akin to UK’s OBR). Miodrag previously worked in the field of investment and strategy advisory (Rystad Energy, EY-Parthenon), and interned at the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. Across these roles, he contributed to some of the most consequential reforms in his home region, as well as to projects across the EEA, the Middle East, East Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. Elsewhere, Miodrag is interested in how data is interpreted, how to design resilient policies, and how to reshape institutions and governance to meet 21st-century challenges. Miodrag is a Chevening scholar.
