Michael is an American citizen and a resident of Washington D.C. who graduated summa cum laude from the College of William & Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. His professional experience spans national security, diplomacy, and public service, including internships at the White House, the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Air Force Air Combat Command, and the U.S. Army War College. He also contributed to research published by the U.S. Army War College Press, developing case studies on post-intervention states as part of a broader effort to update frameworks for assessing stabilisation activities. Michael is passionate about defence and foreign policy, with a particular focus on great power competition and nuclear strategy, areas he believes will define the trajectory of international security for decades to come. Outside of work and school, he enjoys reading, traveling, and a good cup of tea.
