Maxinne is a government lawyer from the Philippines whose work has spanned 1.5 years in one of the leading law firms in the country and over 2 years in the Supreme Court of the Philippines. From a young age, she decided that she wanted to address the poverty, inequality, and corruption that riddle her country. Having long believed that law and policy are the most effective tools to create systemic nationwide change, Maxinne hopes to specialise in public policy that addresses criminal justice, education, and social inequality, with the goal of alleviating corruption and promoting inclusive development in the Philippines.
