Maxim Zhurilo is a health and wellbeing policy entrepreneur from Russia.

Maxim studied Applied Math at MEPhI and Global Public Policy at RANEPA as an honoured John Smith Trust Fellow.

Maxim founded the Stayfitt.app wellbeing platform which is used by companies, universities and cities to involve people in active lifestyles and improve their lives and happiness. More than 200k people use Stayfitt daily in many organisations, including Visa, Mars and Danone.

Maxim is passionate about sports and has run 25 marathons, completed seven Ironman triathlons and became the first Russian to swim across the Gibraltar Strait.

He was a member of the Public Council of the Ministry of Health and a contributor to the National Demography Strategy in his home country. Maxim is also the author and coach of the 'Leadership through Sport' programme for the Russian government's talent pool. However, following open anti-war statements in February 2022 Maxim was expelled from all public organisations.

Maxim is interested in the economics of wellbeing and happiness and in finding ways to make Russia a peaceful and democratic country. Maxim is an Oxford-Weidenfeld-Hoffman Scholar.
