biography

Marta is a Ukrainian professional with a background in energy policy, legal practice, and urban studies. At Kyiv Mohyla Academy, she excelled in moot court competitions, earning an internship at the Court of Justice of the European Union and beginning her career in international arbitration practice. She built partnerships to raise awareness about the deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia through the Bring Kids Back UA initiative and volunteered as a project coordinator for Energize Ukraine, sourcing critical energy infrastructure for the energy grid.

Previously, Marta served as a consultant in the Ukrainian Parliament, a constituency assistant in the Canadian House of Commons, and ran for the Kyiv City Council to represent her neighbourhood. Marta has worked as an analyst in the Reform Support Team at the Ministry of Energy and at a renewable energy company, focusing on regulatory and compliance issues. Her policy interests include renewable energy, housing, and urban development.
