Marie is from Switzerland with a BA in Humanities from the University of Lausanne and a CertHE in Political Economy from the University of Oxford, specialising in in economic policy, social history, and constitutional law. Marie worked as a journalist for 6sixyears. Passionate about direct democracy, she engaged in civic groups, drafting law propositions for popular votes, and implementing community projects. Recently Marie worked on the national campaign for Switzerland's first climate policy framework law. She currently leads SHE Changes Climate in Switzerland.
Marie is looking forward to learning how to enhance her policy contributions globally, focusing on the interplay of technology, democracy, ethics, and education to promote sustainable development and peace-building. She also aim to help share the vision of 21st-century youth in policymaking. In her free time, she volunteer in space, arts, and heritage organisations. She enjoys writing, playing basketball, stargazing, and photography.
