Mahnoor is from Pakistan and has over three yearis experience working on diverse projects in international development across Africa and Pakistan.
She has worked with the Health Secretary to rapidly improve access to primary healthcare services for 120 million people in the Punjab province of Pakistan, with a focus on maternal and child healthcare. She has also been instrumental in supporting the government in the design and deployment of Pakistan's first public-sector Electronic Medical Record system at all primary health facilities to improve the quality of patient care; the system now records 80,000 entries daily. Prior to this, Mahnoor engaged the UNESCO International Institute for Educational Planning to develop their regional strategy and case for investment in education in sub-saharan Africa.
Her professional interests lie at the intersection of health, education and gender, which she cultivated after her BS. (honours) in Political Science with a high distinction from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
