biography

Maeve grew up in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, immersed in the province's beautiful natural landscape and playing traditional music with her family. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management, specialising in international relations and conflict from Carleton University, Ottawa. Alongside her studies, she learned about policy implementation and analysis while working for Global Affairs Canada, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and as a Parliamentary Page in the House of Commons.

Most recently, Maeve worked as a trade policy analyst with Global Affairs Canada. Maeve's policy interests include climate change, migration, trade and the environment, and human rights. She is looking forward to learning from the vast experience of her professors and classmates through the MPP, and deepening her skills to support just and informed policy-making.

Maeve is a Rhodes Scholar.
