Maeve grew up in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, immersed in the province's beautiful natural landscape and playing traditional music with her family. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Affairs and Policy Management, specialising in international relations and conflict from Carleton University, Ottawa. Alongside her studies, she learned about policy implementation and analysis while working for Global Affairs Canada, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and as a Parliamentary Page in the House of Commons.
