Born and raised in Switzerland, Lukas holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Geneva, with an exchange semester at Yonsei University in Seoul.
Previously, Lukas worked on migration research in Geneva and at Amnesty Switzerland before joining the Asia and Pacific Division of the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs and later the Swiss Embassy in Washington, D.C. There, he focused on Western Hemisphere and Africa policy, as well as international cooperation and climate change. Most recently, I led human rights projects at the UN Association Switzerland. Beyond his work and studies, Lukas has been dedicated to fostering critical and enriching exchanges by co-founding a podcast on international relations.
These experiences ignited his passion for policies aimed at building and sustaining democratic institutions that deliver quality public services and sustainable economic opportunities to their communities.
Lukas is a Berrow Foundation scholar.
