Lorna is a youth engagement strategist, digital inclusion advocate, and aspiring tech policy professional committed to building equitable tech futures across Africa and beyond. Her work spans youth leadership, digital transformation, and public policy. She has advised the European Commission’s Directorate for International Partnerships, co-authored global youth policy recommendations, and contributed to initiatives like the Intra-Africa Mobility Programme, the Africa-Europe Youth Academy, and Green Education. In Cameroon, she led nationally recognised programmes delivering STEM skills to underserved communities, raising $50,000+ in funding and building cross-sector partnerships. She consults on youth policy and civic engagement with Y-ACT of AMREF Health Africa and formerly with the National Youth Council of Cameroon. Lorna is interested in how governments and technology giants shape, and are shaped by, policy, and how their influence can be made more transparent and accountable.
