Larissa grew up in the United States and spent the past decade in Washington D.C. and New York City learning and working with institutions to craft a more just society locally and globally. Larissa graduated from Columbia University in 2018 with degrees in history and American studies focused on US foreign policy and decolonisation movements in the Cold War. She started her career at McKinsey leading client projects focused on social impact strategy development and organisational design.

Larissa built expertise across the social sector and on emerging ESG opportunities for companies. From 2021–22 she had the amazing opportunity to take an advisory role to Mercy Corps' CEO to help develop the organisation's 10-year strategic plan. Larissa is grateful to the institutions that have helped to shape her perspective and skill sets, and looks forward to further developing expertise and exploring innovative solutions to shape a just transition of the global economy to a sustainable future.
