Laetania is an Indigenous Dayak woman from Indonesia working at the intersection of Indigenous rights, forest conservation, and public health. She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Sheffield, where her dissertation examined healthcare barriers facing Indigenous women in Australia. As Advocacy Manager at Health In Harmony, Laetania lead efforts to amplify community-led planetary health solutions across four continents. Previously as Climate Officer at Health Care Without Harm Asia, she supported building climate-resilient health systems across Southeast Asia and led the RISE Alliance, a regional coalition spanning health, law, and environment. Laetania has represented Indonesia at UNFCCC negotiations from COP25 through COP30, and is currently lead advocacy for a Ministry of Health partnership piloting last-mile healthcare in remote forest communities. Her policy interests centre on planetary health governance, Indigenous rights and climate finance reform.
