biography

Knox is an Armor Officer in the United States Army with an interest in defense procurement and public policy. He is from Weston, Connecticut, and hold a B.S. in American Politics with a Terrorism Studies Minor from West Point. As an award-winning Presidential Fellow in the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress, Knox researched budget reprogramming in the Department of Defense. Using a dataset he created of 30,000 programme budget transfers, Knox presented his findings at CSPC and the Midwest Political Science Association. He is currently seeking publication alongside West Point faculty.
Knox has interned at the White House and the Defense Intelligence Agency in addition to holding various positions in the cadet chain of command. His work has been included in the President's Daily Brief, and he has written work for the West Point Press, Infantry Journal, and for various senior and defense officials. Knox is a Marshall scholar.
