I am a BA Political Science major from the University of Ghana and in the last 6 years, have led business and project development teams executing ambitious trade infrastructure projects in Ghana. As Commercial Project Manager at LMI Holdings, my current project involves the US$200 million Trans Volta Network, a multi-faceted project aimed at combining warehousing with rail and barge transport to link the southern regions of Ghana to the less developed northern regions. I have a keen interest in the formulation and implementation of evidence-based trade policies to facilitate economic development in Africa and am excited about the prospects of broadening my understanding of complex public policy issues during my MPP year at the Blavatnik School of Government. Outside of work, I am passionate about working with my local church to run Hope Shelter, an NGO founded to return orphaned girls to school. It's been a truly enriching experience and I hope to do more volunteer work in the coming years.
