Kamran has spent four years studying in the UK. After graduation, he joined the private sector, but the COVID-19 pandemic strengthened his desire to contribute to society, leading to a transition into public service. Kamran enjoys exploring policies from both social and economic perspectives. He takes initiative, embraces responsibility, and believes that challenges are opportunities to grow. He has worked directly with deputy ministers, senior advisers, and leaders across government, often beyond the usual bureaucratic hierarchy. He doesn’t shy away from difficult tasks because he believes if others can achieve something, he can learn to do it as well. Kamran’s ambition is to become a senior policymaker in Azerbaijan. To achieve that, he needs broader perspectives and deeper experience, which he hopes to gain from Oxford's exceptional faculty, diverse cohort, and intellectually stimulating environment.
