Jose Libardo is an economist from Colombia.

He studied at the National University of Colombia and has a Master's Degree in Economics from the Universidad de los Andes. He has eight years of work experience, mainly in the public sector, and is currently an advisor on Regulatory Improvement Policy issues at the National Planning Department (DNP), leading the Regulatory Improvement Observatory for the generation of evidence for decision-making. Jose has worked on the construction of the National Development Plan, in the formulation and implementation of the Regulatory Improvement Policy and in the planning of the country's investment budget, among others.

Additionally, he worked as an economic advisor in the Vice Presidency of the Republic to lead projects associated with internationalisation, labour formalisation and productive development. He is interested in the evidence-based public policy approach, mainly in issues associated with regulatory policy, internationalisation, and productive development.
