Ignacio is from Chile, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and a minor in economics. Ignacio's journey has taken him through diverse sectors, where he has focused on effective policy-making and strategic leadership. His experiences have shown him the tangible impact of well-crafted public policies on society. Working in the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Energy and Mining, Ignacio directly supported two ministers, actively participating in shaping policies focused on adapting and building resilience to climate change.

From coordinating and planning the wildfire season of 2019–20 to formulating strategies for promoting Chile's lithium production and conducting feasibility studies for desalination plants in water-deficient regions, Ignacio has delved into the intricate dynamics of policy implementation, management, and stakeholder relationships. He is passionate about adapting policies to tackle climate change and leveraging AI for smarter decisions.
