Jessica Jenkins grew up in Christchurch but has lived in Wellington since 2013, having undertaken her undergraduate studies in law, policy, and development at Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington.

Since 2019 Jessica has worked at Te Tai Ohanga, the New Zealand Treasury in Budget Management and Health teams, most recently on the reforms of New Zealand's health system. She is fascinated by the complex and messy nature of the world's most pressing problems, and feels passionately about finding inclusive solutions that make a sustainable difference.

Jessica is thrilled to be part of the MPP cohort for 2022 and full of anticipation for all she and her peers will learn together over the coming year.
