biography

Jesse is currently a medical student at the University of Alberta in Canada. He previously completed a Master of Science in Applied Digital Health at the University of Oxford where his dissertation explored the impact of social media as a commercial determinant of health and its role in childhood obesity.

Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of British Columbia majoring in chemistry. In the future, he hopes to pursue a career combining his interest in clinical medicine, digital health, health advocacy, and Indigenous health with his skills in leadership and problem-solving.

Jesse is pursuing the MPP to enhance his skills in policy-making and analysis with a particular interest in healthcare policy in both a Canadian and global context.

Jesse is a Rhodes Scholar.
