Jennifer is an economist, strategist and policymaker, working as the only policy advisor under 30 for Australia’s Prime Minister. She contributed to the development of Australia’s $3.5 billion National Housing Plan, including the first nationally consistent set of renter’s rights, and advocated for innovative tax changes to deliver more rental housing. This collectively represented the largest changes to Australian housing policy in nearly two decades. She also advised on multi-billion dollar commitments to strengthen Australia’s universal health system.
Previously, she served as a labour market economist in the Australian Public Service, as an intern at Australia’s premier economic consultancy firm and at the leading independent think tank, the Grattan Institute. Jennifer was a C.A.S Hawker Scholar at the Australian National University. Her economic thesis investigating insurance affordability and climate change was acclaimed on the floor of Federal Parliament. Jennifer is a Governor Phillip scholar
