biography

After growing up in a small town called Lurgan in Armagh, Northern Ireland, Jason completed his undergraduate degree in French and Politics from Queen's University Belfast. During the course of his studies, he became involved in human rights and student activism. After graduating with a First Class Honours, Jason was elected for two terms as Vice-President Education in Queen's Students' Union, representing all students on their academic interests. In 2021, he joined the central team of the Social Democratic and Labour Party as a Press and Policy Advisor, before joining Sinéad McLaughlin MLA's team as her Parliamentary Advisor in 2022.

Jason is an alumnus of the Washington Ireland Program and a former Campaigns Assistant with Amnesty International NI. He is passionate about helping to create an anti-sectarian, shared and pluralist future in Northern Ireland through the implementation of effective public policy.

Jason is a Policital Leadership scholar.
