Jama Noor is an international development and private sector development practitioner.

In the past decade, Jama worked as a Director and Consultant with major private sector companies help to expand their businesses, in the process, he gained extensive experience in portfolio management, organisational reform, strategy development, governance, and project evaluations. Jama has led and managed the delivery of complex investment and development projects across Africa.

Jama is a social entrepreneur who is passionate about social justice, good governance and democracy; he has co-founded organisations such as Inspire Group Africa which focuses on good governance in East Africa.

Jama's academic qualifications include an MSc in International Relations from the University of Bristol and a Postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership from Oxford’s Saïd Business School.

Jama's key policy interests are governance, financial services, and environmental policy. Jama is an Oxford Graduate Scholar.
