Jacopo is from Italy and served as an OECD Young Associate in the Investment Unit within the Office of the Chief Energy Economist at the International Energy Agency. His work has focused on global energy investment trends and capital mobilisation for affordable, equitable, and secure energy transitions. He contributed to the World Energy Investment reports and supported analytical engagement with governments, investors, and international climate policy processes. Previously, Jacopo worked in the Global Sustainable Private Infrastructure strategy at Lazard Asset Management and in the Sustainability Practice of McKinsey and Company. He holds a BSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. His policy interests centre on how countries can leverage energy to foster growth and sustained prosperity. Jacopo is joining the University of Oxford as a Pershing Square Scholar, first for the MPP and then for the MBA at Saïd Business School.
