biography

Jacob was born and raised in Western Sydney and currently lives in Canberra. Since his undergraduate study in political science and law, he is passionate about understanding the legitimacy of governments and how they bridge the delivery gap between political promises and real outcomes.

Jacob runs his own company providing public policy research and strategic advice to a variety of Australian organisations. Prior to that, his professional background was in political advisory roles to the Prime Minister of Australia and the NSW Attorney-General, and the law. His policy interests are democratic resilience, electoral reform, mis/disinformation, education, and mental health. Jacob is an Artillery Officer in the Australian Army Reserves and has a fascination with strategic and military affairs.

At Oxford he hopes to learn from others, challenge his perspectives, and understand more about how the world works.
