biography
Isy Hawes is a Case Writer at the Blavatnik School’s Case Centre on Public Leadership. She researches public policy challenges to develop cases and teaching materials with faculty members. Isy is recently returned to the UK from Washington D.C., where she completed a Masters in Conflict Resolution at Georgetown University and worked as a research assistant for the International Criminal Justice Initiative. As an intern with Colombia Risk Analysis, a political risk consultancy in Bogotá, Isy published ‘Fragmentation and Polarisation: One Year Ahead of the Next Presidency’.
She also holds an MSc in Latin American Studies from the University of Oxford, and a BA in Liberal Arts: Spanish and English from Durham University.
