biography

Isabella is from San Antonio, Texas. and graduated in 2024 from the U.S. Military Academy with a Bachelor's Degree in International History and Systems Engineering. She served as the second in command of 4,500 cadets, and commanded the Class of 2027's Basic Training, a six week period transitioning 1,257 civilians into future officers. She also captained the NCAA Division 1 volleyball team for two years.

Isabella interned at the U.S. Army War College and the Joint Chiefs of Staff Historical Office at the Pentagon. Most recently, she completed a Master's in Comparative and International Education at the University of Oxford. Her dissertation focused on the relationship between U.S. education and democracy from the perspectives of educational leaders who operate in both policy and praxis. She is interested in improving education systems that effectively foster citizenship and prepare students for democratic engagement. Isabella is a Rhodes scholar.
