Isabella is an energy professional passionate about the energy-development nexus and committed to advancing just energy transitions, particularly in the Global South. She holds a dual BEng in Chemical Engineering (University Medal) and a BA in Environmental Humanities from UNSW Sydney, equipping her with an interdisciplinary perspective on global energy and climate challenges. She was previously an energy analyst at the International Energy Agency, contributing to efforts to accelerate universal energy access, including the Summit on Clean Cooking in Africa, which mobilised USD 2.2 billion in new commitments. She also represented Australia as Environment Delegate to the 2022 Youth G20 Summit and has worked on a range of environmental projects through prior consulting and engineering roles. She is interested in how energy and climate policies can drive development outcomes, enable clean energy investment, and strengthen multilateral and bilateral partnerships. Isabella is a John Monash scholar.
