Ibrahim is a researcher, team leader, and policy advisor working at the intersection of geopolitical risk, institutional reform, political economy, and regional security across the Middle East and Horn of Africa. His experience spans the United Nations, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Middle East Institute, Amazon’s Risk and Resilience function, S&P Global, Chemonics, ODI, IDS at the University of Sussex, and the XCEPT programme. His analysis has appeared on BBC, CNN, and France 24, and he advises policymakers, diplomats, and corporate leaders on crisis management, organisational resilience, and strategic decision-making. Ibrahim holds a master’s degrees in strategy and diplomacy and in security, intelligence and strategic studies, and a BA in international affairs with a minor in international law. He aims to harness technology, data, and evidence to improve policymaking, strengthen institutions, build resilient systems, lead high-performing teams, and promote regional connectivity.
