Haider is from Pakistan and worked as an advisor for ministers and secretaries to lead large-scale transformation projects in the health sector over the past five years. Most of his work has focused on improving access to primary care services and strengthening maternal and newborn health outcomes for over 100 million citizens. Recently, he led the launch of an independent monitoring unit in Balochistan, empowering leaders to review real-time data from 1,000+ health facilities on service readiness every month for the first time. Prior to this role, Haider graduated with a high-distinction from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan with a focus in economics and mathematics. At Oxford, he aspires to master the intersection of data and technological tools in health policies, and lead the charge on driving innovation and citizen-focused policies in the health sector. He wishes to forge a world where every citizen can access healthcare as a right and not a privilege.
