Georgia is originally from Cyprus. She studied economics at the University of Surrey, and for the past five years has worked at the Bank of England. During her time there, Georgia had the opportunity to contribute to the development and operationalisation of the banking resolution policy framework, take part in live crisis management scenarios, and engage in international work on non-bank financial institutions. These experiences have shaped her interest in public policy and strengthened her desire to broaden her perspective beyond financial regulation. Georgia is particularly keen to explore areas such as artificial intelligence, international affairs, conflict resolution, and socioeconomic and development policy. She is very much looking forward to joining the MPP, where she hopes to deepen her understanding, interact with a diverse group of peers and continue growing both academically and professionally.
