François-Aïssa Touazi is the Global Head of International Affairs and member of the Executive Committee at ARDIAN, the largest European private equity firm (with $180bn of AUM) and he co-heads the Investor Relations Team supervising the strategic partnerships with pension funds and sovereign wealth funds in the Middle East. He is also Chairman of Ardian limited Abu Dhabi.

François-Aïssa is co-President of the France – GCC business Council at MEDEF international, the largest French business organisation where he leads the Sovereign Wealth Fund Task force. He is a Board Member at Diot-Siaci, a leading European insurance brokerage firm and at Dedalus, a world leader in IT software solutions for healthcare.

Before joining ARDIAN in 2007, François-Aïssa held various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including Advisor to the Minister in charge of North Africa and the Middle East.
