Francesco Bromo is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford, where he is affiliated with the Oxford COVID-19 Government Response Tracker (OxCGRT) project.
Francesco’s research primarily focuses on political institutions, legislative politics, executive politics, representation, and constitutions. His work has been published or is forthcoming in The Journal of Legislative Studies, the European Political Science Review, Parliamentary Affairs, and Social Science Quarterly, among other outlets.
Before joining the University of Oxford, Francesco was a Dissertation Fellow and Instructor of Record at Texas A&M University. He holds a BA (Hons) in Politics and International Relations & Economics from the University of Strathclyde (2019) and a PhD in Political Science from Texas A&M University (2024). In his doctoral dissertation, Francesco focused on the use and consequences of government-initiated votes of confidence and related features of parliamentarism.
