Flavia is a lawyer who graduated with highest honours from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, and who has pursued studies at Georgetown University and the University of Munich. She is committed to advancing social justice with a focus on gender and human rights, and is President and Cofounder of Sin Tabues, a youth led NGO that has reached over eleven thousand people in Peru through sexuality education and digital innovation, supported by partners from the United States and the United Kingdom. Flavia's undergraduate thesis proposed a legislative reform on the non-punishability of human trafficking victims, which is under consideration by the Peruvian State. Flavia also worked as a legal consultant for the Ministry of Women, the Ministry of Interior and the Public Prosecutor’s Office, advising on trafficking and gender policy. Her policy interests focus on gender equality, education and technology. Flavia is a Chevening scholar.
