Finley is the Blavatnik School of Government’s Development Officer, where he supports the School’s mission to improve government and public policy through the facilitation of strategic engagement with donors, partners, and organisations. In this role, Finley works closely with senior leadership, faculty, and external stakeholders to secure funding for key institutional priorities, including scholarships, research initiatives, and policy programmes that address the most pressing global challenges.
With a focus on building and sustaining meaningful relationships, Finley contributes to the School’s development strategy by identifying new opportunities for support, managing donor engagement, and working within the Development and Alumni Relations Team to craft compelling cases for philanthropic investment.
Prior to joining the Blavatnik School in 2022, Finley worked at Lincolnshire County Council on the administration and delivery of Freedom of Information requests.
Finley graduated from Bath Spa University in 2019 with a BSc in Sociology.
