biography

Erik is a policy and legal adviser to a member of the Parliament of Ukraine and an adviser to the Ukrainian delegation to the Inter-Parliamentary Union. He has contributed to the Ukrainian Parliament's work within the Council of Europe and completed internships with members of the European Parliament and the Parliament of Canada, dealing with conflict prevention, UN reform, sanctions, and education and healthcare policies, electoral processes, human rights protection, and historical memory.

Erik has a Bachelor's Degree in International Law from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, with an exchange semester at the University of Vienna. His ambition is to maximise his contribution to Ukraine's recovery by becoming a member of the Parliament of Ukraine. Erik's current key policy interests are post-war economic recovery, accessible and effective education, promotion of research and scientific innovation, sustainable urban reconstruction and revitalisation.
