biography

Dr Enase Okonedo is the Vice-Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University, Nigeria. Prior to this, she held several leadership positions at Lagos Business School (LBS) including Dean, EMBA Director, Academic Director and Deputy Dean, Academics.

She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Benin; an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona and a Doctorate in Business Administration from International School of Management (ISM), Paris.

She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) as well as a Fellow of the International Academy of Management (IAM). In November 2015, she was conferred as a Fellow of the Society of Corporate Governance Nigeria (SCGN) in recognition of her exemplary leadership and contributions to good governance in the Nigerian Education sector.

Dr. Okonedo serves as a member of the AACSB International Board of Directors as well as a member of the academic advisory board of the Global Business School Network (GBSN). She was, between 2012 and 2013, the chairperson of the Association of African Business Schools (AABS), and a member of the Board up until May 2016. She is also the President of AIFA Reading Society, Nigeria. ‎

Drawing from her experience leading a world-class institution in Nigeria, Dr Okonedo speaks to global audiences about issues in management education in emerging markets. She has developed and taught courses in problem-solving and decision making, corporate financial management and financial strategy at the School.

An accomplished professional with more than 29 years’ experience in the financial services and management education sectors; she also serves on the board of several indigenous and international companies.
