My name is Dongfang Guo and I come from Beijing, China, from a family of civil servants. I am a recent graduate with a profound interest in the role of impact investment and social entrepreneurship in tackling socio-environmental challenges facing global societies. I became familiar with these concepts during my exchange semester at Columbia University.

I have worked in both private sector and non-profit organisations which focus on sustainability and social value investment, and I undertook a field placement with the China Alliance of Social Value Investment (CASVI). During my undergraduate studies, I successfully led several large-scale community service projects on my own initiative, both on and beyond campus. In my free time, I enjoy reading, jogging and playing table tennis.
